Use cDock to customize your Dock. The Dock is an integral part of your Mac. Cdock High Sierra

I'm not a fan of the Dock's gray tray, and had been using cDock to turn it transparent (had to use both cDock and cDock2 together since neither did the changes on my machine by themselves--never did figure out why.) Now neither are working under Sierra, and while dark mode in the dock would be acceptable, dark mode for the menu bar isn't. Anyone getting ****2 working with Sierra? How? (wrote to Wolf but no response). Any way of separating the dock and the menu bar to keep one dark one light?) Any other way of making the dock transparent? REALLY hate the apple-supplied tray for the dock.
