7.1 Surround Sound In Wall Speakers

To install 7.1 Surround Sound, you need the following:

- Internet connection for initial Razer ID login and activation

7.1 Surround Sound Software Download
Step-by-step process
Download and install 7.1 Surround Sound software.
Run the 7.1 Surround Sound installer, and then click “INSTALL”. This may take a few minutes to complete.
After completing the installation, launch the 7.1 Surround Sound app then log in with your Razer ID.
Enter the activation code that came with your purchase, then click “ACTIVATE”.
Currently, the activation code is included with a purchase of the following products only:
- Razer BlackShark V2 X (RZ04-0324)
- Razer Kraken (RZ04-0283) – some models may require product registration
- Razer Kraken X (RZ04-0295, RZ04-0296)
- Razer Base Station V2 Chroma (RC21-0151) – product registration is required
To set 7.1 Surround Sound as the system's default playback device, go to Settings > System > Sound then select 'Speakers (7.1 Surround Sound)' as the output device.
Launch the 7.1 Surround Sound software and select the output device that you would like to apply 7.1 Surround Sound on.
If you are using an analog headset connected via the system's 3.5 mm port, ensure to select the system's onboard audio playback device, for example, Realtek High Definition Audio and so on.
For best results, ensure that 'Spatial sound' is turned off by going to Settings > System > Sound then select “Sound Control Panel” under “Related Settings”.
Right-click on the playback device where the 7.1 Surround Sound is active, then select “Properties”.
Go to the “Spatial sound” tab then confirm that “Off” is selected from the drop-down list under the “Spatial sound format” section.
Click “Apply” then “OK”.
